Its been a bloody hard few weeks!

Over the last few weeks we have been from amazingly excited to extremely low, back up, back down and everywhere in between! Jack has been ill, Alan's new cooker blew up before he even got to cook me food and I feel like I haven't slept this year!

We've been so busy fighting fires with a building thats been so badly neglected that its a miracle that it managed not to kill anyone of its previous customers in all of a dozen ways! 

 

There is now light at the end of the tunnel however. We are unfortunately not holding our Grand Opening this coming weekend but having some invite only nights to see if the drains explode, the ceilings fall down and the furniture falls apart, plus we need some practice with the tills, service etc etc and we wouldn't want it to go wrong with the general public. It's ok to injure friends, family and folks you buy beer off;)

 

We will be opening the brasserie Thursday daytime and the cellar bar daytime Saturday before the party if you are passing to have a sneak peak and a 2/3pint of something lovely, then hopefully open pretty much full time if all goes well with the pre-opening nights from Sunday 23rd. This is all leading up to our advertised Grand Opening weekend on the 28th where we will have a full cellar, food, music and Halloween not to mention a tap take over from our friends at Vibrant Forest and a fecking big fancy dress party.

 

Also, we now have a sign:)
